The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) has announced the winners of the 2025/26 Top Goaltender Award, as voted by the coaches:
Eastern U17 Prep: Egor Oganesyan, Bishop’s College School
The 2009 born netminder went 6-2-0 with 2 shutouts, finishing fifth with a 2.47 GAA and seventh with a 913 SV%.
Eastern U18 Prep: Zachary Botelho, Bourget Collège
Botelho led all Freshman goalies with a 2.23 GAA, .936 SV%, 2 shutouts and 5 wins, going 5-3 in 8 starts for Bourget. The Gatineau, QC product finished inside the top 10 among all goalies in all major statistics, including third in SV% and shutouts.
Female U18 Prep: Alexis Ehrman, Edge School
The St. Cloud State University commit finished the 2025/26 campaign with a 9-6-0 record, a 2.29 GAA, .932 SV% and 1 shutout in her third season with Edge.
U15: Mason Filipchuk, Calgary International Hockey Academy
Filipchuk went 10-5-2, finishing fourth in the division with a .915 SV% while recording a 2.80 GAA and 1 shutout.
U15 Prep: Gavin Craig, Yale Hockey Academy
The Langley, BC product earned a division best 15 wins, going 15-2-0 while leading the division with a .935 SV% and 4 shutouts. His 1.96 GAA was third among all goalies. Through two U15 Prep seasons, Craig went 26-9-1 with a 2.64 GAA, .918 SV% and 7 shutouts.
U17: Ben Boudreau, North Shore Warriors
Boudreau went 6-15-4 but played the most minutes (1580) of any U17 goalie, finishing with a .938 SV%, third in the division. His 3.00 GAA ranked 10th in a season in which he faced 300 more shots (1283) than any other netminder.
U17 Prep: Chase Nielson, South Alberta Hockey Academy
The Red Deer Rebels prospect went 12-5-1 with a 3.15 GAA and .913 SV%.
U18 Prep: Cash Christie, South Alberta Hockey Academy
Christie went 10-1-0 with a 2.31 GAA and .927 SV%. The Medicine Hat Tigers prospect ranked fifth in GAA and seventh in SV%, while his 10 wins were the seventh most.
